Unfu*k Yourself — Get Out of Your Head and into Your Life

I found this book walking through Barnes & Noble in 2018 — one of my first times out after a surgery that nearly cost me my leg. The orange cover caught my eye. I opened it, and there's a line about laying in a hospital bed feeling sorry for yourself. I was standing there with limited movement in my foot, overweight, and in the worst headspace of my life. It felt like the book found me.

Bishop is blunt, direct, and doesn't let you make excuses. This was the first book that made me believe I could actually change. Everything that came after started here.
